Howdy!

I'm an on location, natural light photographer in Austin, Texas and the surrounding area. I'm currently building my portfolio and booking sessions for materniy and newborns, children of all ages, high school seniors, couples and families. I'm just dipping my toes into the world of weddings, too! My goal is to capture your life and personality with a casual, laid-back approach that's relaxing and fun for everyone!

What an amazing year is was (and continues to be!) for the wildflowers!  They just keep coming.  Seeing these pictures with all these beautiful kids on my computer screen definitely made it worth all the running around in the heat and humidity, fighting bugs and sticker grass!  It’s amazing to me also, how you can find the flowers in the most unexpected places that are different from year to year.  Those of you who had sessions this season understand that!

Here are some of my favorites with just the kiddos…

Have you had a photo session in the past year?  Do you have a few images left that you didn’t originally purchase and you still want them?  Well, I’ve got the special for you!  I’m cleaning out my hard drives and making an offer you can’t pass up.  Any time in the month of March, you can purchase digital images for any session that took place prior to March 1, 2012 at a discounted price.

You can purchase digital images for $15 each (minimum purchase TWO digital images) or you can have all the remaining digital images from your session for $125.

I only keep digital images on file for one year after your session date, so if there’s an image or 2 (or 15) that are lingering in your mind, now’s the time to buy!

Again, I’m only offering this during the month of March!

Hey, have you booked your Bluebonnet Session yet???

Bluebonnet Sessions!
So, I’m not sure that we really had a winter, but who’s ready for Spring????
Lets capture the awesome spring months on film before the unbearableness of
summer, shall we?
I’m never sure who to believe on the bluebonnet and wildflower prediction
reports.  Everyone complained about how horrible the bluebonnet crop was
last year, but the field that I always go to looked AMAZING!  Of course, you
never know from year to year what you’ll get, but I promise we’ll do our
best to find a great spot for bluebonnet and wildflower pictures in the next
few weeks!
This year, I am going to offer the mini-session pricing anytime in March or
April!  TWO whole months to take advantage of this offer.
For $145, you’ll get~
-30 minute session
-Online gallery of 12-15 images to choose from
-5 digital images on disk with print release that you choose from your
gallery
-A 5×7 print of each digital image that you choose
-1 Facebook ‘sneak peek’ watermarked image of my choice
I’ve decided to include prints in this years package because I want everyone
to see what difference a quality, professional printer makes!  And it also
makes me sad to think that photos just live on disks sometimes and never get
printed to enjoy in all their glory.
Shoot me a message and get your session on the books before we blink and
it’s summer (and 105 degrees!).  I’ve already had several previous customers block their time!

LOVE, love, love photographing the babies of great, old friends!  Ike is such a little sweetie, too.  I feel bad it’s taken me this long to blog his newborn session!  Come to think of it…I probably didn’t do his mama’s maternity session….must do that, too!!!  It’s also a lot of fun when his daddy has LOTS of pretty guitars to play with.  I’m so glad our little guys get to grow up together :)

Do you know of BabyRabies.com?  Well, if not, hightail it over there and be prepared for the truth about parenthood.  It ain’t pretty folks. but it can be funny! And this is one of those times.  The Inappropriate Elf Contest!  Does your house have an Elf on the Shelf?  Well, ours does.  His name is George.  And after the kid goes to bed, hilarity ensues.

***Disclaimer, no children were dis-illusioned in this demonstration.  She was safely tucked in bed with visions of purple sugar-plums dancing in her head when this little episode took place***

Found your Daddy’s stack of Vintage Playboy’s.  Didn’t make it back to the North Pole last night….

For more Inappropriate-ness, head on over and check out BabyRabies Inappropriate Elf Contest!  Wish me luck!

Have a family session coming up?  Planning ahead for Holiday pics?  You should be!  They’ll be here before ya know it.  And you do NOT want to be addressing holiday cards instead of shopping and eating :)  Here is a little inspiration.

I’m a wee bit behind on the blogging.  This long, hot summer (along with being pregnant AND moving) has wiped. me. out.

Anyway.  A couple of months ago I had the pleasure of photographing Andrew and Tiffany’s wedding at the awesome The Inn at Wild Rose Hall!  Beautiful venue.  And Andy and Tiffany’s family were full of beautiful people.  My favorite thing about shooting a wedding is how you show up as the photographer not knowing anyone except the bride.  By the time you leave, you’re all like long, lost family.  Please you’ve known for mere hours are hugging you goodbye like you’re a long lost cousin.  I seriously love it!  Here are a few gems from their wedding…

Congrats, ya’ll!  Many years of happiness to you both!
